You Can rent a car if
- You are over 18 years old
- You are below 75 years old
- Your driving license is valid for over a year
- You hold a valid European (for EU countries) or International (for countries that don’t belong to EU) driving license
Basic Third Party Insurance
Vehicle rental rates include Basic Third Party Insurance. The renter is insured for:
- 24hours roadside assistance
- Physical harm towards third parties for up to 1.300.000€/person
- Material damage towards third parties for up to 1.300.000€
- Personal driving accident for up to 15.000€
- Legal Protection for up to 3.000€
Vehicle delivery and collection
Delivery and collection of any vehicle at FS Luxury Rent office, Airport and Zakynthos Main Port are free of charge each way. Delivery and collection of any vehicle in other locations of Zakynthos island have an extra charge and we will let you know the exact amount after your reservation and before its confirmation. Delivery and collection of any vehicle except for office working hours (09.00 – 23.00) have an extra charge of:
- 25€ – 35€ Depending on the distance to your accommodation
Additional driver
In a car rental the driver is covered by all insurances detailed in this terms & conditions. If other drivers are going to drive the rented vehicle, they must be declared in the lease contract at the start of the rental period. Required documents are identity card or passport and a valid driving license.
Super Full Insurance (S.C.D.W.)
Limits the renter’s responsibility for car damage to 1000€. This insurance covers damages on the bottom part of the car (underbody), the wheels, tires, glasses, mirrors and the interior. Please note that any key loss is not included in this insurance.
Ferrying vehicle
A written permission is needed from FS Luxury Rent in order to use a Ferry Boat with a rented car from the company and an extra insurance is needed (Ferry Insurance). In case of violation to this rule, any insurance signed with FS Luxury Rent stops to be in effect. Please note that there may be an extra charge for getting any vehicle outside the island with a Ferry if the needed insurance not added.
Driving off-road
It is not allowed to drive on non-asphalted roads or on the beach.
Drink–driving policy
Renter is not allowed to drive the vehicle under influence of alcohol, medication or drugs.
Fuel policy
The car must be delivered with the same fuel level when the rental period began. In any other case the renter is charged with the amount of less gas, plus 10€.
Traffic fines
Renter is liable for all parking and traffic violation occurring during the time of rental.
Accidents or mechanical damage
In case of accident or damage to the vehicle, the renter is obliged to notify our company for the exact location and not to leave the point. The renter assumes full responsibility for traffic violations and pays the respective fines. In case that the renter will not pay the fine, FS Luxury Rent will charge the fine cost plus administrative expenses.
Vehicle condition
Renter is responsible to return the vehicle in the same good condition.
Payment policy
The full amount of the rental is paid in advance and money is not refunded.
Ways of payment
The rental can be paid by credit card, debit card(Visa, Master Card), cash or bank transfer.
Booking cancellation
If you would like to cancel a reservation with FS Luxury Rent we would kindly ask you to notify us at least 10 days before pick-up date.
Theft or loss of the vehicle
For any theft or loss of the vehicle, the renter is solely responsible.
Loss or damage of equipment
The vehicle key, radio or any optional vehicle equipment is not insured, you will be charged if you loose or destroy it.
